Jonathan has practised in the field of Intellectual Property since 2017, working in the engineering, electronics and software sectors.
Before entering the patent profession, Jonathan graduated from the University of Sheffield with a first-class masters degree in Physics. Following this, Jonathan undertook an interdisciplinary PhD in nanotechnology. Jonathan’s PhD project involved developing various semiconductor architectures utilising quantum phenomena for anti-counterfeiting and security purposes.
Jonathan joined Secerna as a Trainee Patent Attorney in April 2017.
