Secerna LLP is looking for an enthusiastic Finalist/Newly Qualified Patent Attorney with first-class professional and interpersonal skills to join the Chemical/Pharmaceutical group based in our York and/or Newcastle office.

Position: Finalist/Newly Qualified Patent Attorney

Sector: Chemistry/Pharma

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Finalist/ Newly Qualified Patent Attorney
  • Strong academic background in chemistry and/or pharmaceuticals
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the chemistry field
  • A desire to contribute to the growth of the Chemical group and the firm as a whole
  • Able to work well in teams and establish strong relationships within a dynamic company
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
